The aim of the project presented in this report was to compare the methodology of Social Life Cycle Assessment (S-LCA) with the vision of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and explore to what extent these two approaches can be complementary. This is a qualitative study, which has combined a literature review with the analysis of the views and needs of Spanish companies, based on six interviews and a discussion workshop held with representatives of companies and experts. The contributions of the project participants have shown both the potential interest of S-LCA for business and the possible difficulties of applying this new methodology.
