The economic crisis is exacerbating the structural problems that have been battering the media for a certain time, together with the loss of influence and credibility suffered by journalists. This study aims to offer a diagnosis of the current moment, crucial for the future of the media sector, and secondly, to offer elements for discussion and analysis of important values such as prestige, credibility and ethics of the press. For research it was used a qualitative methodology based on the completion of three discussion sessions involving heterogeneous communication profiles.
