The aim of this study is to analyse the presence of women at different professional levels of auditing firms and to identify the reasons that could explain the abandonment of women from the auditing profession. The data are based on an online survey administered to women who work or have worked in the auditing sector in Catalonia. In total, 200 completed questionnaires were collected (164 responses from active auditors and 36 from former auditors).
