This paper presents an approach to living wage of seven Southeast Asian countries: Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. According to a methodology developed in a previous study, living wages are proposed that should act both as a reference for organizations and companies and as the target for responsible bodies in framing or revising minimum wages. The results are compared with other available estimates of survival wages. Also, they are characterized with respect to minimum wages in each country and in relation to prevailing wages.
